The Black Madonna

This copy of the Black Madonna of Loreto was first installed in a copy of the Holy House of Mary, but it drew so many pilgrims that soon a bigger church had to be built for her. Eventually even that proved too small for her. So the present church was erected in 1907. Her feast day is August 15th, the Assumptio of Mary into Heaven.
